We are a local business that has been in the industry for over 30 years. S&D has both a General Engineering and a General Builder contractors license (A and B license). Therefore, we are more qualified than most of the industry. It is our promise to our customers to treat your home as if it were our own.

About the Contractor

I’ve lived in Woodland all my life, and am happy to serve the community where I was born and raised. I began S&D in 2003 with the objective of creating a construction company that homeowners could trust to deliver quality work. I had seen the abuse that some in the community had experienced from unlicensed and unethical contractors. I wanted to show the community that contractors could be trustworthy, and reliable. I have worked on large projects and small, everything from additions to small remodels and repairs. I have even performed work for non-profits at reduced costs or pro bono. I used to lead a millwright company before I entered into residential construction. I was a controlling large projects working on rice silos, large machinery, and even bridges. Residential construction offers me what I enjoy most about construction- creating something that can be appreciated. I enjoy the accomplishment of bringing the desires of homeowners, into a reality.
